Role Overview
- Support and grow the investment planning services practice.
- Work closely with senior advisors.
- Engage prospective clients, qualify investment opportunities.
- Set high-quality planning appointments.
- Assist with backend investment operations and client follow-through.
- Growth-oriented role with clear performance expectations (not just administrative).
Key Responsibilities
Client Outreach & Qualification
- Make outbound calls to warm leads, referrals, and targeted prospects.
- Conduct discovery conversations to assess client goals and fit.
- Qualify prospects for investment planning conversations.
- Schedule well-vetted appointments for senior advisors.
- Answer incoming phone calls for the office.
Investment & Operational Support
- Assist with IPS documentation, onboarding, and account setup.
- Support investment implementation and follow through.
- Coordinate data gathering, paperwork, and client requests.
- Ensure professional and compliance-aligned communication.
Client Experience
- Act as a polished first point of contact for investment prospects.
- Reinforce planning value, next steps, and expectations.
- Ensure smooth handoffs from prospect to advisor to implementation.

Qualifications
Plus
- Series 6 or Series 7 license
- Series 63 license
Required
- Comfort with outbound calls and follow-up.
- Strong professional communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, process-driven.
- Interest in investments, financial planning, and client development.

Compensation & Growth
- Base salary between $35,000 and $55,000 (based on experience).
- Commission and incentives tied to qualified appointments, asset flow, and execution quality.
State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm Insurance Companies. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. State Farm agents control which licensing requirements and training programs are offered or must be successfully completed by their employees.
